It ISN'T because of not enjoying the book, because BELIEVE ME I am loving it - I love the mythology and I loved Everneath both times I read it - but I'm a little bit anxious about the ending and I have a few tours coming up. I *really* want to take my time with it since there is time spent in the Everneath and with all of the world-building and stuff. It isn't a review book, but I still want to enjoy every single word. SO...it is actually IN MY BAG, meaning I'm carrying it around with me everywhere but with with the full knowledge that I'm not picking it up until I can finish it slowly and with all of the love that it deserves. I just love the world and mythology too much NOT to enjoy it to the fullest. I *will* say that the place where my bookmark rests is the PERFECT spot to be stalled...and I foresee myself picking it up pretty soon. I can't wait to talk about it because I certainly echo some of your feelings about Cole AND about Nikki & Jack.

Still nervous about that ending! You know me and cliffhangers. The ending certainly makes everything more interesting. But good idea to feel out the whole series before you start this one up. I've started to do that more and more with books I don't love. But I will probably wait until the third book is out if I pick it up again.

Thanks for the review!

Wendy @ The Midnight GardenWendy Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13471461156849725177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6652084782125897918.post-26770108400214666812013-02-08T19:12:06.338-05:002013-02-08T19:12:06.338-05:00I think overall it's going to be pretty mild o...I think overall it's going to be pretty mild on the love triangle scale. But there ARE two guys and Nikki is connected to both of them. However, as I said, she is only in love with one of them. I think it's an interesting, complex relationship between all three. I'm so glad this was such a good read for you and I can rest assured about the love triangle as well, not to mention the cliffhanger. I'll let you know once I've read this since we'll have a lot to discuss I'm sure!(: Keertanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01071392026876644282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6652084782125897918.post-29766387139555367332013-02-07T09:50:17.841-05:002013-02-07T09:50:17.841-05:00I scanned your review because I haven't read b...I scanned your review because I haven't read book 1 but now I'm going to go check out your Everneath review!
