I love that Heather managed to make her characters come to life, particularly Bonnie/Chloe, Benton, Patrick and even Bonnie's family and her two best friends. That was probably my favorite part of the novel, as I really enjoyed feeling like these characters should exist in (my) real life.Alexa S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13185723439360170259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6652084782125897918.post-66973654959280767722014-05-01T08:46:49.739-04:002014-05-01T08:46:49.739-04:00Well, thank goodness she has well-adjusted friends...Well, thank goodness she has well-adjusted friends who have her back. I'll admit this is a book I initially dismissed when I first read the synopsis, but I've been reconsidering since then. I love that this seems to really focus on sibling relationships - and that the romance is pretty good itself. :) And yay for no love triangle!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052456915027241479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6652084782125897918.post-68397373554064461602014-04-30T17:23:25.769-04:002014-04-30T17:23:25.769-04:00You know my feelings on this. :) I couldn't ag...You know my feelings on this. :) I couldn't agree more with your list! I just read Reality Boy, though, so I want to wait just a bit before I do another reality tv show plot story. HOWEVER, I can imagine how I may feel about the reality show plot, because I know how I felt about the show in Reality Boy - although I know these two stories are not really alike. So glad you liked this one. I think H liked this one too, so that makes me feel good about reading it soon. I was initially afraid to read it too because of the reality TV show aspect, but I ended up loving it because of how eye-opening it was. Benton and Chloe's relationship was also one of my favorite parts of the book. I loved how close they were and how they weren't afraid to tell each other that they were wrong when they were.
And of course Patrick Sheldon! *swoon* That guy is so perfect!
Lovely review, Lauren. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6652084782125897918.post-85568856511488748402014-04-30T08:28:25.702-04:002014-04-30T08:28:25.702-04:00The reality TV show plot was also the reason I was...The reality TV show plot was also the reason I was not planning on reading this book, but after reading your review, I'm going to have to add it to my TBR list!
