I'm taking an Independence Day holiday

Hi everyone!

I hope you're having a fantastic summer so far.

If you're in the USA, HAPPY Fourth of July this week. I hope there's watermelon and fireworks in your future.

After a 20 hour car trip, I'm on vacation.

Because I'm away on vacay* and don't have a lot of internet access, I'm taking the week off.

If you stop by, tell me what book you're reading right now.
(I'm reading through Cate Tiernan's Immortal Beloved series)

See you next week!

*Whenever someone tries to shorten vacation to vaca instead of vacay, I always think they're talking about cows.

  3. HAVE A GREAT VACATION, MY FRIEND! I hope you'll get some great books read. I really need to read Immortal Beloved. My hairdresser, a family friend of ours, loves to read as well and it's one of her favorite series. I signed up for Summer Lovin' Read-a-thon and I'm starting Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter and after that I have about 5-6 books to choose from :-) See you next week indeed *hugs*

  8. Yes, vacation is here, everyone is taking the days of to enjoy it, and well this makes us all happy and puts us in a good mood. Personally I am happy to be reading a book I wanted for a while now but had no time to: The lonely places.
