I've been blogging for ONE YEAR!

Today is my ONE YEAR Blogoversary!

source

One year ago today, I wrote my very first blog post. Then I secretly released it to the world.
I can't believe all of the friends I've made, events I've attended, posts I've written and books I've read since then.

I NEVER expected blogging to be as AMAZING as it is.

I still can't believe I found a community of people who love books as much as I do.

Who read more than I do!

Who are willing to analyze books with me over endless emails and at all hours of the day and night.

Who have welcomed me with open arms.

I have YOU all to thank for that.

 Thank you

To anyone who has ever read, or heard of my blog.

For your comments, discussions, tweets and encouragement.

For talking me off the ledge when a book I'm reading causes emotional turmoil.

And overall for understanding me like no other.

A few of the people out there who have made my year spectacular:
Asheley, Heather, Jen, Heidi, Carrie, Keertana, Jess, Jenny, Sara, Mandee, Jen, Wendy, Amanda, Siri, Aman, April, Sunny, Maja, Mary, Jamie

I feel very blessed indeed to be a part you all.
(I also apologize if I forgot anyone!)

If you're interested in learning a bit about how/why I started blogging, check my interview with Sunny @ Blue Sky Bookshelf, HERE.

To celebrate, I'm giving away some books!
The first giveaway is for US only, the second is for everyone.

I can't wait for The Dream Thieves either--dat endinggg!! There are LOTS of books I'm waiting for, but these are the first three that come to mind and I know I'll read them asap. Which is/are yours? :)

If there is a book that I am dying to read this fall it has to be 'The Moon and More' by Sarah Dessen. I love her books and this latest one I have yet to get my hands on !!

  11. Happy Blogoversary Lauren!!! WOO HOO! 12. Yay!!! Congratulations on your blogoversary, L! *throws confetti* *toots a kazoo*

If I were up in MA right now I'd give you a giant HUG:) I'm so thankful I met you last year on Ash's blog because discussing/ fangirling over books with you has not only enhanced my own reading experience tenfold, I feel like I've made an incredible friend along the way:) This blogging thing is so rewarding, but a lot of work too, and I'm SO happy that you went for it one year ago today because this community is better for it. You're generous and funny and smart--you always make me think and look at what I have read in a more critical light. Your insight, paired with your ability to get those thoughts across to others through your writing, is perhaps what I love most about your blog. And I'm so incredibly happy that more and more readers are discovering this about you too:)

Ok, enough with the mushy! Congrats again (I'm toasting you with my cup of coffee) here's to many more years! xoxo

**When we meet one day will upgrade that toast to adult beverages ;)

  15. Has it been a year already!!? WOW. I just love that you started this blog. I think I almost love it more than mine or at least definitely AS much. You've taught me how to read in a much different way and I think it all started with your review of The Immortal Rules. I was like WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY THINK CRITICALLY WHEN THEY READ HMMM THAT'S SO INTERESTING WOWWW and now I even do that on occasion. :)

Anyway, yay for your space on the internet. I hate that the summer has kept me from hanging out on it as much as I normally would but I love it here and I adore you and YAY for reading buddies. Can't wait til we have a big group party one day and sit around by the beach and talk about books for days. In my perfect near future, that actually happens.

xoxo Congratulations and here's to more!
